EBR Staff Writer Published 16 February 2011

Pacific Bay Minerals said that its partner Strateco Resources has begun the diamond drilling program on the company's Otish Mountains uranium property in Quebec, Canada.

This drilling program is targeting the highly prospective Matoush-style Alfred Fault zone discovered by Strateco in October, 2010

The Matoush-style Alfred Fault zone is approximately 4km west of Strateco's Matoush uranium deposit.

The Alfred Fault drilling is part of a $1.1m, 5,500m drilling program planned for 2011 on the property.

Pacific Bay Minerals said that Strateco is earning a 60% interest from the property.

Pacific Bay Minerals is a Canadian resource company that focuses on uranium discovery in Quebec, Canada and Chubut Province, Argentina.
